Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. His career began with roles in television series, like Opposite Sex in the year 2000. His fame was boosted by his role as the Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007. Evans appeared in further movie adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America was featured in Captain America: The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) along with Endgame 2019.
