Rosalia
Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is the Spanish singer from flamenco. As a teenager she sang with traditional as well as popular music. But, her singing interests have broadened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela has described her vocals as being sweet, sharp but also with a little bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success following her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. It earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It featured collaborations with fellow performers and producers like Cory Henry. It was released on the 20th of March, 2022 after the show on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
